Our little friend Sacha

I made Sacha for Bodhi when he was just over one year. I really enjoyed the process of making a handmade doll. At first Bodhi was not extremely fond of Sacha. Infact, I think he was a little threaten by him! He would throw him around and show no signs of affection for him. Now Sacha is a big part of our life and he is most definitely well loved (as you can see from the picture).

Sacha is made out of all natural materials. His skin is 100% organic cotton. His hair is mohair, and his stuffing is wool. There are many amazing waldorf dollmakers out there. I have such respect for them as it takes alot of time, energy and love to make them!

My favorite sites are:
bamboletta dolls
where's waldorf?

I know that some of you have also bought amazing dolls from moonchild handwork studio.

Another great site for buying patterns (which you can sell if you wish) is sarah's dolls.
